Makeup for  the workplace although simple, can be professional and simply glamorous. There is no need for excessive makeup in the workplace or corporate functions.

One can look bold and confident while keeping it simple.

Let's look at some Corporate makeup tips

- Ensure your eyebrows are always well groomed. Remember your eyebrows accentuate your eyes and define your facial features. Your eyebrows should be well shaped - not too thin or thick 

- Try to maintain a healthy glowing face (not greasy/not dry)

- Foundation and Powder should match your tone and applied lightly. Using too much foundation or powder can create a cake effect. Ladies what you want is a MATTE effect.

- Eye shadow - pastels, neutrals, browns even some brighter colours can be used however, these should be applied lightly. Avoid the glitter and overly bright colours like yellow and green

- Eyeliner and mascara should also be lightly applied as too much may create a Gothic look. Unless its Halloween - keep it light.

- Avoid overly red or orange blush, use tones that matches your complexion - warm  or light pink. 

- Lipstick -  Don't use too bright or dark lip colour again, keep it neutral or light pink.
